We will begin our tour by visiting the Giza Plateau. Here we will walk between the Great Pyramid of Khufu and the Pyramid of Khefre, the middle pyramid. Then we will visit the panorama where you will be able to see and take pictures of all three pyramids. Once you have spent enough time with the pyramids, we will head down to visit the Guardian of the Giza Plateau, the Sphinx. Walk through the Valley Temple with its megalithic blocks. With its head of a man and body of a lion, many Egyptologists believe the face. of the Sphinx is that of King Khefre, but is it? We can talk about who else the Sphinx represents when we are standing in front of it. Your guide can also assist you in getting the iconic photos you would like here. Saqqara was the ancient royal burial grounds for when the Egyptian capital was in Memphis. To this day, it is still revealing what lies buried in the sand. While it is best known for it's Step Pyramid of Djoser, Saqqara also offers a wonderful peak into one of the best known festivals for the king, the Heb Sed Festival. You will also visit the tomb of Ty. Overnight at Cairo Hotel Breakfast

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) is the first museum in the Arab world that is focusing on ancient Egyptian Civilization. It is the only museum in Egypt that offers you a general overview of all the different historical periods that encompass Egypt - including Predynastic and Ancient Egyptian periods, Graeco-Roman, Coptic and Islamic periods as well as contemporary modern times. Along with having a great overview of Egyptian culture, NMEC’s “crown jewel” is the Mummies Hall where you will find 20 Royal mummies beautifully presented from the 17th to the 20th dynasties. These mummies include Seti I and Ramses the Great, along with Hatshepsut, Ahmose Nefertari and many more. The Egyptian Museum in Cairo is undergoing it's own makeover as its younger sister, the Grand Egyptian Museum is getting ready to open. While the King Tutankhamun items are in the process of being moved to the newer museum, there is still plenty of things to see here. The Egyptian Museum is home to the wealth of objects including those belonging to Tuya and Yuya, King Tut's grandparents. It is also the new home of more than 2,500 artifacts that were discovered in the royal tombs at Tanis, including the golden mask and collar of King Psusennes I. The Amarna collection featuring items related to Akhenaton and his wife, Nefertiti, are also located here. Tut's golden funerary mask is still here, so visit it before it moves! Coptic Cairo is a part of what is known as Old Cairo. This area of the city is known for it's Coptic Christian churches and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. During your time exploring this area you will have the opportunity to visit: The Hanging Church: The Hanging Church is one of the oldest churches in Egypt and dates back to the 3rd century. It is also the most famous of the Coptic churches in Cairo. It has received its name for it’s location, hanging above a gatehouse of the Babylon Fortress. Dedicated to the Virgin Mary, this church has had several reported visitations by her. Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church: Dedicated to Sergius and Bacchus, who were martyred soldier saints, this church is said to be built on the spot where the baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph rested at the end of their flight into Egypt. They may even have lived at this site while Joseph worked at the fortress. The Ben Ezra Synagogue: The Ben Ezra Synagogue is the oldest Jewish synagogue in Egypt. This synagogue is named after "Ezra the Scribe", who was a priest and a prominent leader in the 5th century. He was believed to have given the Egyptian Jews a magical Torah scroll. In the late 19th century, a hiding place was found in this synagogue which contained sacred books and worn out scrolls that gave incredible insights into the history of Cairo’s Jewish community over the past 850 years. There’s a myth that states the synagogue was built on the site where baby Moses was found hidden in the reeds on the Nile River. Stop number two is the citadel of saladin and Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque which is located inside the Citadel of Salah El Din. You probably saw the mosque as you came into Cairo as it can be seen from almost any direction coming into the city. This mosque was built during the Ottoman Empire. On our next stop you will be able to explore the Khan El Khalili, a bazaar that attracts both tourists and locals. Overnight at Cairo Hotel Breakfast
